Lots of people ask the question ‘what can we do to help?’
ADOPT A GREYHOUND FROM LINCOLNSHIRE GREYHOUND TRUST OF COURSE!!
Obviously the first thing is to adopt a greyhound from us and look after them for the rest of their life. If you do that you’re in the good books straight away!
A new greyhound requires a lot of hard work and commitment, but most problems can be sorted if you’re willing to show that determination and commitment to succeed. We’ll provide you with a back up for the lifetime of your greyhound.
WHAT MORE CAN YOU DO?
Some owners who become part of the cult that is greyhound ownership want to do more without being able to take on additional greyhounds so what else can you do?
- Spread the word: So many of our new homes are found as a result of our owners speaking to others and recommending greyhounds and Lincolnshire Greyhound Trust to them.
- Put up posters: If you’re relatively close by to one of our kennels then we do have posters that can be displayed in shop windows, workplaces etc and these are a great way of finding new owners.
- Share our posts/retweet: Nowadays social media is a key aspect of homing and the more people that share our posts or tweets etc the more people we can reach.
- Help us at events: While some events are restricted by space we are back looking to organise street collections and if people are willing to commit a few hours and come along with their own greyhounds or hold a kennel greyhound it really does make a difference.
Those are some of the ways you can really make a difference and help us to help even more of these wonderful creatures into loving homes to spend their retirement.
