Before adopting from us please read this from one of our owners

As many of you know it’s been quite a journey I’ve had with Tyson, his separation anxiety was off the scale and at times his behaviour had me in tears with the extent of what he’d done in our house but we stuck with him as he was also in a new environment and also everything was so new to him.

We worked together as a team and he’s overcome all of that. It does take time, patience and perseverance but we got there in the end…yes at times I thought What have I done lol but I always knew I would never ever give up on my boy.

He’s always been a loving loyal boy but had big issues being left on his own but…I’m so pleased with how far he’s come and can now be left on his own to have to run of his home and nothing is ever touched by him, I’m super proud of him and i literally adore my fur son, he’s definitely stolen my heart and I could never imagine my life without him

So with all that in mind if anyone is struggling with theirs please please don’t give up on these beautiful breeds, it does take time to adjust but you’ll get there in the end and it’ll be the best thing you ever did and you’ll have the most loyal, loving best friend you’ll ever need x

Princess

Princess

Kennel 1A is currently occupied by Princess.

Princess is a black female born on 2 June 2022 who came to us on 14 November 2024.

She is a lovely fussy girl, but would probably prefer to be an only pet as she can be very feisty just like her mum!!

Princess eats well and walks well on the lead.  She retired early due to not chasing.

Kennel 1A is sponsored by David and Sue Scoffin.

This kennel is also sponsored by the Kendrick Moore family.

Tommy

Tommy

Kennel 3 is currently occupied by Tommy.

He is a black male born on 12 October 2015 who came to us on 15 July 2021.

Tommy is not currently available for homing.

Once he knows you he can be quite submissive, but he is possessive with anything he finds and with food.

Tommy can be a typical stubborn greyhound if you try and get him to do something he doesn’t want to, but walks well on a lead and is not particularly reactive to animals or people when out walking.

Here is Tommy in our latest FFS video First Friday Stats (FFS) Edition 11 – 6th December 2024 – YouTube

Kennel 3 is sponsored by David and Frances Owen.

Kennel 3 is also sponsored by Ben Turner in memory of Sascha.

Jules

Jules

Jules is a black female born on 28 June 2020 who came to us on 12 December 2024.

Jules is a headstrong girl who enjoys her own company. She isn’t aggressive to other dogs but doesn’t want to be mauled and cuddled by dogs.

She is very loving and sweet with humans though and particularly enjoys belly rubs.  She was retired due to a minor shoulder injury, but this should have no impact on her life as a pet.

Kennel 5 is kindly sponsored by the British Retired Greyhound Database BGRD

She is a very lovely smaller girl and good with children, but can be quite bossy with the bigger male dogs so would probably prefer to be an only dog.

Kizzy is a bit of a free spirit, very wishy washy and still very puppy like and not focused. She was retired early due to not chasing the mechanical hare.

Kennel 7A is sponsored by Anne Ramkaran in memory of Jools.

Kennel 7B

Kennel 7B

This kennel is sponsored by Sue and Paul Slack.

She is a white and blue female born on 7 September 2020 who came to us on 14 November 2024.
